Pet Shop Boys may have faded from the public’s view after the 1980s, but they’ve never stopped making music and the music they continue to make remains exciting and relevant. Even this “new” song is “old” now, being released thirteen(!) years ago on the excellent Fundamental album, produced by none other than Trevor Horn. The Pet Shop Boys have a knack for superb album-opening tracks, and this one is no exception.
